Striped Wallpaper

Stripes are the simplest way to change a room's proportions: vertical stripes visually raise low ceilings, fine, close stripes bring calm to classic interiors, and wide bands add a modern accent. This selection includes striped wallpapers from Satin Flowers, Trussardi Casa 8 – including wavy stripes –, Philipp Plein 2 and Murella 100, plus vertical wood-grain stripes from Architexture.

Striped wallpaper is unforgiving to hang: the first strip must be perfectly plumb, or the pattern will visibly run off at an angle. How to prepare the wall before the first strip goes up is covered in removing old wallpaper and preparing the wall.
