After a renovation or when new furniture arrives, many people notice it: the air feels stuffy, headaches appear out of nowhere, or something just feels off. The culprit is usually invisible – harmful substances like formaldehyde, quietly released into the air by furniture, carpets, paints and adhesives for months on end.
SYSTEXX Active Absorb glass fibre wallcoverings tackle this problem at the source. Thanks to a specially developed treatment, the wall surface actively captures and permanently binds formaldehyde – scientifically verified to DIN ISO 16000-23. In controlled testing, airborne pollutant levels dropped by up to 65%, even under continuous exposure. And the effect lasts for the entire lifetime of the wallcovering.
Ideal for bedrooms, children's rooms and spaces with limited ventilation. Also certified to B-s1, d0 fire standards, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, allergy-friendly, and easy to install with Aqua Technology – just activate with water.
Binds up to 65 % of formaldehyde within the first 24 hours
