SYSTEXX Active Magnetic Whiteboard is a ready-to-use multi-function wallcovering built on a glass fleece substrate. The front face is a factory-finished whiteboard surface; the reverse is magnetically active. No additional painting, no magnetic paint, no separate whiteboard panel – the wall is ready to write on as soon as the adhesive has cured.
Ideas need space. With SYSTEXX Active Magnetic Whiteboard, entire wall surfaces in any format become writing, display and magnetic surfaces – while integrating practically invisibly into the room when not in use. Available in shiny or matt.

Installation of SYSTEXX Active Magnetic Whiteboard
⚠️ Important before installation:
Always roll in the winding direction – never bend or roll in reverse. Keep the surrounding area dust- and particle-free throughout the entire installation process: static charge causes particles to settle on the surface, which can cause irreparable damage when pressed down.
Applying adhesive:
Apply dispersion adhesive evenly to the wall using a paint roller or airless spray equipment. Recommended adhesive quantity: 150 – 220 g/m². Not suitable for use with a wallpapering machine.
Butt-joining strips:
Place each new strip with approximately 1 mm overlap, then slide the edge flush. Place the wallpapering spatula inside the supplied microfibre cloth and press the strip bubble-free across the full surface. Never press directly onto the whiteboard surface with any tool! Remove any adhesive from the visible face immediately with a damp sponge.
External corners:
Continuous application around external corners is not possible. Cut cleanly at all corners and edges. Recommended: SYSTEXX corner bead profile No. 3840.
Drying times:
Drying time: approx. 24 hours (at 18 °C, 60 % RH).
Do not use magnets until fully dry – allow at least 48 hours!
Initial cleaning after installation:
Once fully dry, clean the surface with washing-up liquid and water. Do not use sharp-edged or abrasive cleaning tools.
Cleaning after use:
Wipe whiteboard marker ink dry with the supplied microfibre cloth. If needed, use standard whiteboard spray or water. Permanent markers can be removed with household solvents (methylated spirit, turpentine) – use sparingly.
Always lift magnets to reposition – never slide them; dirt particles trapped under magnets can scratch the surface.
