Wall renovation without stopping operations
SYSTEXX Active Reno is a range of glass fibre wallcoverings developed specifically for fast interior renovation – even while the building remains in use. The special weave pattern of the 938 range conceals surface irregularities, trowel marks and texture up to 2 mm directly, eliminating the need for repeated filling and sanding.
The AQ variants (Aqua Technology) come with adhesive already applied to the reverse side at the factory: simply pull through the Aqua Quick device, activate with water – and the fabric is ready to hang in around 3 minutes. No mixing, no mess, no separate adhesive. Ideal for high-traffic spaces such as hospital corridors, schools and hotels.
New: Reno Smooth PG AQ – the solution for smooth walls. A texture-free, smooth surface is achieved with no filling or sanding whatsoever. The glass fleece can be painted directly; over-wallpapering is possible but not required.
💡 With the PG variant, a single coat of paint is sufficient for light shades – saving both time and material in one step.

Installation of SYSTEXX Active Reno
938 RW – Classic method with dispersion adhesive:
Apply dispersion adhesive evenly to the wall using a paint roller or airless spray equipment. Recommended adhesive quantity: 200 – 350 g/m². Can also be applied via a wallpapering machine (follow dilution instructions). Drying time: 12–24 hours at 18 °C / 60 % RH.
938 RW AQ / 938 PG AQ / Smooth PG AQ – Aqua Technology:
Pull the material through the water-filled Aqua Quick device as instructed and fold in closed loops. The factory-applied adhesive activates in approx. 3 minutes (walls) or approx. 5 minutes (ceilings). Hang within max. 20 minutes of activation.
⚠️ Do not leave the material in the water bath for more than 5 minutes – prolonged immersion compromises adhesive quantity and consistency.
Butt-joining strips:
Always hang strips butt-joined – never upside down or reversed (use the reverse-side markings as a guide). Distance between two markings on the hung wall should always be 1 m. Remove any adhesive from the visible face immediately with a damp sponge.
External edges:
Lightly sand the edge with fine wet-and-dry abrasive paper (≥ P 240) – do not sand through – fold over the external corner and press bubble-free.
Coating / Painting:
Apply a high-quality emulsion paint evenly after full drying. All sheen levels may be used. PG variant: one coat is sufficient for light shades.

SYSTEXX Active Reno is suitable for virtually all renovation surfaces in occupied buildings: hospitals, schools, hotels, office buildings, residential complexes and public facilities. Can be applied directly over existing glass fibre wallcovering, textured plaster, tiled or trowelled surfaces and many other load-bearing substrates.
